PROJECT PROJECT INFORMATION
PROJECT DESCRIPTION Java developer with experience with Servlets, MVC (Jakarta or WebWork), XML, XSLT, XML Schema, Eclipse and Test-driven development (unit tests) needed for ongoing work in a startup project. Hands-on experience configuring Resin, JRun, or Tomcat preferred. Data will be managed in an XML database similar to xmldb or xindice. Must show proficiency in writing XSL transforms by hand. Looking for an offshore individual at $10/hour who is set up to accept bank wire transfers. Must be willing to work in a continuous integration environment, checking in source code daily rather than at the end of each milestone. Must be available via instant messaging (AIM, Yahoo or MSN) for several hours/day, 5 days/week and occassional weekends. We work late hours in the US so overlap with your daylight hours is very likely. Payments will be on a regular schedule as long as milestones continue. A long term relationship is definitely possible and desired.
