Make versus Buy
Outsourcing is often referred to as a ‘make versus buy’ decision on the part of the customer. The question is, “Is it in the organization’s best interests to continue to (or start to) perform the activity itself using its own people, process expertise, and technology or to ‘buy’ the activity from the service provider marketplace?”
