DESCRIPTION
I have been employed before as an auditor in Sycip, Gorres and Velayo, an affiliate of Ernst and Young. After 3 years of being an auditor there I got the chance to have a transfer to its business process outsourcing department. This is where I got most of the things I needed to know to start as a freelancer in the Philippines.

Currently, I am providing business process outsourcing services to clients here in the Philippines. The services that I offer are the following:

1. Bookkeeping and Financial Statement Preparation
2. General Ledger Maintenance
3. Set-up of Accounting policies and procedures for a start up company
4. Payroll
5. Income Tax Returns Preparation
6. Tax Planning
7. Accounts Receivable and Payable reconciliation
8. Bank Reconciliations
9. Claims processing, and
10.Feasiblity studies

I got the chance to know about offshore outsourcing and decided to give it a try. I happened to pass on this site and thought this may just be my chance to be introduced into the market. All in all now, I have been in this industry for 5 years, 2 years being employed and 3 years in business.

I actually have a few associates employed to help me in my work but since I am still registered as a sole proprietorship I decided to use my own name in registering. This year, we will be launching our website (the website I placed here is still under construction) and new company name. Perhaps by then, I will be updating my registration in your website from freelancer to company.

Meantime, I would like to bid on projects posted on your site and prove my worth as an outsourcing provider.

SKILLS
I am excellent at analysis and numbers. From time to time my clients here in the Philippines consult us for business advice and my suggestions usually help them. Yet, right now my main focus is actually on accounting and financial business processes such as bookkeeping, general ledger maintenance, financial statement preparation, income tax preparations, reconciliations, payroll and the like.

TERMS
In the Philippines, charges are usually on a per project or per month/ retainer basis. For starters, though, I would like to start with a minimum of US $ 7.00/manhour. Payment terms would be 50% advance and 50% after the project is done. Turnaround time can be as fast as 1 hour or as long as two days depending on the project requirements. To be safe, though, I will follow the turnaround time required for each project.
