Forbes Technosys Limited (FTL) is a part of the Forbes Group which in turn is a part of the Shapoorji Pallonji Group of companies. The Shapoorji Pallonji group of companies is one of the most respected business houses in India since 1865.

Forbes Technosys Limited is currently in the business of medical transcription (MT). We are presently housed in independent premises of 15,000 sq. ft., with state-of-art infrastructure in S P InfoCity, Pune.

The unit has 200 seats, and is presently conducting MT, medical coding & billing business in collaboration with a US corporation which is the fastest growing organisation in the MT field and is rated among the top three companies in MT business.

In addition to medical transcription, the company has started providing services in the areas of medical billing and collections.

ABOUT FORBES GROUP:

INFRASTRUCTURE:
FTL is presently located in Pune at the S P InfoCity. We are equipped with the latest PCs, connectivity, dedicated internet lease line with ISDN backup, 2 x 80 KVA dedicated UPS in hot standby mode along with a full generator back up.

• We have a highly secure network with firewalls and virus walls. In order to ensure confidentiality of client data, we have blocked all floppy drives, CD drives and USB ports. Employees are also forbidden to bring in or take out any computer media from the premises.
• Internet usage is controlled and monitored. Access is given on a need basis only.
• We also have access control system at all entry / exit points.
• We have adequate 24 x 7 security which check the belongings of all the employees at the entry and exit points.

OUR EXPERTISE IN MEDICAL BILLING & COLLECTIONS:
We comply with AHIMA and HIPAA standards and guidelines to provide quality services. Each agent keys in 300 charges with 0% error rate, we work on two-shift basis to achieve 100% capacity utilization. Downloading of patient’s records / reports from doctor’s office is through secured and dedicated links and strictly comply with HIPAA standards.

Highly accurate data entry of charges and generation of CMS-1500 (HCFA-1500) and UB-92 claim forms within the allotted turnaround time (TAT) limits.

Transmission of electronic claims to the US clearing houses through secured and dedicated links and paper format claims to the insurance carriers. Continual follow-ups with insurance carriers through state-of-the-art contact center to ensure rapid collections and maintaining a clean accounts receivable.

Highly accurate payments postings and daily, weekly and monthly reports generations as per the clients’ requirements.

The clinical information in the free text records is coded to produce a bill for services and facility used.
