DESCRIPTION
Shelly Administrative Assistance is owned and operated by a former office manager, executive assistant, variable annuity contract specialist (NASD series 6 license), administrative assistant, and licensed horseback riding instructor, all of whom are wrapped up in the same person!
I am currently a stay-at-home mother of a 2 year old daughter, and freelance work from an office out of my home. I have worked in corporate office settings since January 1994. I have also worked for several different sized corporations, ranging from 3 employees to several hundred. I have worked in the group medical/dental/life Insurance field, from both corporate headquarters and general office/agency field locations. I have been the executive assistant to the CEO and CFO of a small, growing wireless middleware company. I have worked in the variable annuity department of a financial institution, working in both the customer relations and financial departments. I have also been the office manager for a small dental office of three employees.
Although my experience is broad and varied, I have been able to utilize and build on the different skills from each opportunity. This has enabled me to be able to "jump into" any project, with or without experience, and be sucessful in the venture. I am also fortunate to have worked for so many quality companies. For the first seven years of my marriage, my husband and I have lived in three different locations across the United States. The moves have been challenging, and I have been fortunate to have been offered so many wonderful opportunities.

TERMS
Prices depend upon the project. Most projects are billed hourly using Quickbooks project timer. Quotes can be given for projects before commitment.
Any supplemental materials (special paper, etc.) needed to complete a project will be billed to the client (10% markup). Inital payment of 20% of quote price due upon commitment, remainder when the project is delivered.
Turnaround time is dependent upon the project and when it is required by the client. Rush jobs (24 hours or less) will be priced higher (amount dependent upon project). Communication via email/telephone/fax for information and project updates expected on a constant basis.
Projects can be emailed, faxed, mailed (on CD, diskette, or paper), UPS or FedEx'd according to client needs (client to provide UPS/FedEx account number, or can be billed to client with final invoice).
Final payment is due upon reciept of the project.
