Dr. Dinesh K Takyar (Ph. D., Germany) started the Family Computer Club in 1993 with the main aim of providing computer literacy programmes to children, adults and seniors. Today we concentrate on teaching students programming in QBASIC, Visual Basic, C, and C++ & Java, SQL, Linux and MySql. Adults and seniors are provided training in Windows, MS-Office, internet, e-mail, accounting, web design and setup and networking – the main idea is to make sure that everyone feels at ease with computers. Persons with good basic computer knowledge are an asset in the family or at the workplace!
