DESCRIPTION
Tetcos, founded in 1981, branched into software development in the networking domain 5 years ago. A simulation software covering LAN/WAN protocols for the academic and research segment has been developed and is being sold in India. Over 30 developers are engaged in the development in C/C++ and Java with MySQL database. The simulator is being developed in association with Indian Institute of Science, one of the well known R&D institutions in this part of the world. The simulator software conforms to the IEEE standards/IETF/Forums. Our strength lies in product development rather than just coding since we have conceptualized, designed, implemented and marketed the network simulator successfully.
Since Tetcos manufactures communication hardware also for the academic market, the communication engineering aspects of networking is well understood at baseband, rf and antenna level.

SKILLS
Networking is the key focus area. Skill sets are C/C++, Java. Both windows and Linux OS based development is being carried out.

TERMS
Since Tetcos has never done any outsourced work it will be a new experience. Therefore we would like to be cautious and grow organically in a planned manner. We will be comfortable starting small, prove our merit and then attempt larger tasks.
