TERMS
BUSINESS MODEL:
You could opt for Onsite-only/ Offshore-only/ Onsite-Offshore model.
Projects
The company’s project (software solutions) revenues are earned through its onsite-offshore delivery model. This model works as follows:
When a project has been successfully bid for and awarded to softProjex, a project manager/project leader and data modeler (if required) is allocated onsite at the client location.
Offshore, a project leader and a development team, including a database developer if required are allocated to the project.
The offshore development team performs all the tasks required, like gathering the requirements, preparing the prototype and coding the application. They then send the application to the project manager/project leader onsite. The project manager/project leader then tests the application, releases it to the customer and refers the user/customer test results to the offshore development team. The offshore development team fixes all the bugs raised by the user/customer and returns a bug-free application to the onsite team.
The onsite resources are billed at the average rate of $ 80 per hour and the offshore resources are billed at the average rate of $20 per hour. Invoices for the amounts are raised on a phase basis and the customer is billed at the end of each phase of the development cycle. Revenues earned by the onsite and offshore team are sent offshore to the finance department.
Fixed Bid and Time & Material Projects
The average rates shown above — $80 per hour for onsite and $20 per hour offshore — are used for calculating the cost of the project.
The customer is provided only the final amount to be paid to softProjex in fixed cost projects. This amount is collected
