DESCRIPTION
My personal experince has shown that there is a serious dearth of good firms that provide quality internal audit and business assurance services apart from the big 4 accouting firms who are often quite pricey.

As a small step towards fulfilling this vacum, we, a bunch of higly enterprising and motivated guys have decided a to set up a firm with the sole objective of providing high quality internal audit, business assurance and process re-engineering, fraud investigations and financial accounting services. Like the external audit, internal audit is a specialized profession and requires specific skill sets. It also requires wide understanding of the industry practices, processes, enterprise culture, ethical values, local statutes and above all our will to learn and think ouside the box.

We also plan to expand the scope of our work to international tax, security, network and systems audit, risk assessment in the near future.

SKILLS
Currently we wish to focus in providing internal audit, business assurance and process re-engineering, fraud investigations and financial accounting services of international standard and comparable to the best in the industry.

We adopt risk based approach to audit and then evaluate and test various controls built around these risks to mitigate / minimize them. We also possess extensive fraud investigation expertise / experience by carrying out root-cause analysis and identifying various points of failure and suggesting suitable remedial solutions to address these. We have the requisite skill sets and expertise to provide financial and accouting services also as we are staffed by qualified accountants to support this initiative.

MY SKILL SETS AND PROFILE

I am a cost accountant by qualification. I also possess good international exposure as head of internal audit for 12 european entities for 2 years and also worked as project team member on Sarbanes-Oxley 302 and 404 documentation processes here. As the founder and propreitor of this firm, I have close to 18 years experience with specialization in the above mentioned areas and held various senior positions in some of the most reputed companies in India. I have extensive experience in the manufacturing, telecom and service industry with thorough knowledge of various processes, systems and procedures. In addition to this I possess very good knowledge about various ERP packages with excellent computer knowledge and skills.
