SKILLS
1. Review data, document, reports, information, and design parameters wrt to project road.
2. Conduct survey for Roads, Bridges, Residential and other infrastructure projects.
3. Conduct a confirmatory reconnaissance and road inventory survey.
4. Conduct desk study of bore logs provided as part of DPR, Schedules.
5. Prepare design concept notes for all the works to be carried out
6. Prepare conceptual design/drawings of temporary / permanent road/traffic diversions to
facilitate construction of ROB / flyover / bridges/ underpass/ culverts /CD structures.
7. Prepare, submit and get approvals of all data, design calculations and l drawings and
deliver all drawings as GOOD FOR CONSTRUCTION, marked stamped signed as such to the
representatives of EPC Contractor.
8. Incorporate changes required if any during construction phase in the design / details /
drawings necessitated by site conditions encountered in respect of alignment, profile,
soil/sub-soil ground conditions and any assumptions.
9. Prepare a detailed BOQ(drawing wise / structure wise) based on the design / details /
drawings prepared by us in accordance to DPR provisions and also revise the BOQ based on
alternate design.
10. Assist client in drafting and finailisation of EMP
11. Design suitable pavement crust for the project road.
12. Prepare the typical cross section with details of pavement to be followed for various
road stretches.
13. Carryout design of all embankments on all types of soils including high and embankment in
poor soil conditions.
14. Design of embankment including the requirement for protection work and traffic safety
features.
15. Prepare cross section for full width up to ROW including Main carriageway service road,
inner and outer drains at every 50 m intervals for straight sections of the road stretch
and every 25 m interval.
