Our firm was started by late Mr. M G Vyavaharkar, who was an eminent trial lawyer. He conducted the famous trial, Mahatma Gandhi Murder Case in his capacity as the Chief Police Prosecutor of Bombay. Mr. Vyavaharkar practiced in the field of Criminal Law and after his retirement as the Chief Police Prosecutor of the State of Maharashtra, he practiced Criminal and Labor Law. Mr Vyavaharkar has been instrumental in the formation and implementation of Government Labor Statutes, Boards for the Regulation of Labor and Labor Welfare Schemes for the Unprotected Workers post independence of India.

Our senior partner, Mrs. Lataa Desai is a senior advocate who has been practicing at the bar for the past 38 years. She practices in the High Court of Judicature at Bombay and in the Supreme Court of India.In today's growing demand for alternate Dispute Resolution, Mrs. Desai is a trained mediator. She is on the panel of Mediators for the Bombay City Civil and the High Courts. This group of distinguished Advocates has been selected by the Hon' able Judges of the High Court pioneering this concept. Mrs.Desai conducts litigation in all fields and is an expert on matters pertaining to labour, services, artibitation, property and Constitutional law. She is an expert on the Employers Provident Fund Act & conducts cases in the All India EPF Tribunal at Delhi . She has, at the request of the State Employees Provident Fund Commissioner, conducted workshop for training EPF officers.

Our Pallavi Divekkar is an Advocate and Solicitor and is on the Rolls of the Law Society. She has a Masters Degree in Commercial and International Law. She is a Fellow of the Government Law College , Bombay , a premier institution. She has successfully completed on courses International Law from the Hague Academy of International law (2004, 2006).She has received internship/training in the offices of Hill Dickinson LLP, London in the field of Shipping Finance and Yachts. She practices Corporate, Civil and Private International Law. She handles the firms commercial causes litigation, taxation and documentation work.

Our Dubai office comprises our Associate Partner, Dr Ahmed Al Kandheri and his team of lawyers, assistants and staff.
