About Ecare



Ecare is an ISO 9001:2000 certified Billing company and was established in March 2000 to provide Back-office Services to the Medical Billing Companies and providers in the US. Over the years, Ecare has grown from strength to strength and currently provides back-office Medical Billing Services for a number of clients all over the US.



Ecare currently employs about 400 experienced billers who are well versed with handling Multiple Specialties such as Internal Medicine, Family Practice, Cardiology, OB/Gyn, Radiology, Emergency Services, Orthopedics, Podiatry, Anesthesiology, Critical Care, DME, Oncology, Physical Therapy etc.



Ecare can handle all Billing related activities such as Demographics Entry, Charge Entry, Coding, EOB Posting, Handling Denials and Correspondences, Accounts Receivable Follow-up and Preparation of Customized financial reports. We also provide Credentialing, Indexing and A/R Clean-up services wherein we work your old A/R and try to obtain maximum reimbursement.



The billers at Ecare are well versed with the Billing Rules of the various states in the US. Some of the states in which we provide Billing Services to the providers are New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Louisiana, Florida, Texas, California, Rhode Island and Illinois.



Infrastructure


Ecare uses Cisco Routers and T1 lines to connect to the client’s server. Cisco firewalls are used to prevent unauthorized access into Ecare’s network. UPS and Generators ensure uninterrupted power supply.



To ensure security of data, Ecare connects to the Clients Servers using high speed Virtual Private Networks (VPN) and 128 bit encryption. Ecare has HIPAA compliant processes.



Ecare has a State of the Art Call Centre, which enables its agents to make follow-up calls to the Insurance Carriers and patients in the US.



To ensure security, employee entry into the office is controlled using access control cards and finger print readers. Further the facility is manned 24 X 7 by security guards. Access to critical areas such as server room etc is restricted to authorize personnel only.
