The BPO/ITES division includes a data conversion facility and provides a range of value added services to clients in publishing, technical education, healthcare and finance industry. Its services include pagination services, TeX, LaTeX, Quark coding, SGML/XML, HTML data conversion, web based content, multimedia presentations, graphic design. QUACKENBOSS believes in training and retraining its employees to follow the process and procedures that diverse projects demand. It has a state of the art data conversion center in Chennai to offer services to our valuable clients. We continuously define and refine our methodology to deliver quality process at a cost effective price to our customers. We have 20 Pentium IV machines and a dedicated staff of 40 in this division working in shifts handling projects for various clients.

The success of BPO operation lies in the methodology and human capital management to ensure high quality of work and timely delivery. We strongly believe in our operating model in which we define the processes for each project (Kindly refer a sample process flow chart followed for conversion of scientific abstracts from hard copy to XML for a big UK based client.) and utilization of
emerging technologies to meet the requirement of our customers. We have a professional quality team that ensures quality delivery at each and every stage of our pre-defined process. We also leverage on our software development team that provides all the required tools to increase productivity and ease the process flow thereby ensuring consistency and decreasing the manual intervention.

Our Achievements

E-books Conversion (HTML)

We have executed PDF to HTML data conversion project for Chennai based BPO Company. We have completed 40,000 pages in month duration. We have done HTML & and customized CSS coding for each and every book in this project.

E-publishing

Copy Editing:

The copyediting team comprises of graduates and post-graduates experienced in editing STM journals and books. The team is capable of editing all main publishers' specifications. They are dedicated professionals capable of delivering quality output within the turnaround time expectations. We
work both on hard copy and online versions. We have developed proprietary editing software based on our experience, which make the work much easier.

E-books (XML Conversion):

We have executed an e-book project for a UK based prepress services company operating its offshore unit in Chennai. The scope of the project includes digitization of the scientific abstracts using XML technology. We have devised and executed our own process flow (refer figure) to implement this
project. We have completed 1,80,000 technical abstracts with in a short period of 35 days to the fullest satisfaction of the customer.
