LaserPoint is one of the leading premedia facilities in India. New Delhi. We are talent pool of 40 highly skilled prepress professionals offering premedia services for magazines, periodicals, journals, catalogues, POP material and packaging.

It started off in the year 1987 as the first postscript based typesetting unit in India, and within a short time began providing its services to leading publishers like Oxford IBH, McGraw-Hill and many more. Laserpoint also was the first Mac based prepress house in India and by 1994 added its first imagesetter. 1995 saw the beginning of a new revolution at LaserPoint with the installation of its second imagesetter a state of the art internal drum film recorder with an integrated film processor.

Since then our facility has graduated from a Scanmate 5000 (1996) to a Scanmate 11000(1997) and currently we utilize a Heidelberg Primescan 7100 for high-end scanning along with a speedmaster format Dotmate 7500P - an internal drum imagesetter with a built-in film processor.

We utilize a fully color managed workflow using high-end Mac and PC workstations all hooked up internally thru a gigabit network. Externally, we are connected using a 2 Mbps leased line.

To meet our growth expectations, a regular internal periodical review of the facility is carried out to identify processes/ equipments which are needed. Upgrades and investments are done according to the priority associated.

Currently besides providing high-end premedia services to the best known advertising agencies in India, we are also providing extensive premedia services to a number of well known printing and publishing companies in the UK and the US.

SKILLS
LaserPoint has been providing top of the line premedia services for more than a decade and as a part of its evolution about a year back it embarked on a business plan to focus on the overseas market and build long term business relationship with companies from the publishing world. With fast and reliable interconnectivity available today, it was sheer common sense for us to make maximum use of our resources.
