S.K. Computers Ltd is an design and detailed engineering services company specializing in structural, mechanical equipments (pressure vessels, heat exchangers, etc), and piping.
We undertake product design using finite element analysis software like UG, Pro/E, IDEAS, etc.
We also undertake CAD drafting and conversion of paper drawings to CAD format.

Steel detailing for structural steelwork is our key area. We have delivered shop drawings for more than 200,000 MT of structural steelwork for multi-disciplinary projects using 2D & 3D software's.

Latest software like PVElite, e-Tank, TEMA for mechanical design and AutoCAD, MicroStation, Intergraph SmartSketch for drafting is used as specified by client.

The deliverables include datasheets, mechanical specifications, design calculations, and fabrication drawings.

We have provided design and detail engineering for more than 40 Storage Tanks of Cylindrical Tanks of different Roof structures - Cone Roof/Fixed Roof, Dome Roof, Floating Roof & Cone-cum-Floating Roof for Refineries, Chemical and Petrochemical projects.
We are well aware of the various codes followed viz. API 650, API 620, IS 803 & BS:2654 as well as various major and minor components being used for different types of storage tanks viz. bottom, shell, roof, curb angle, stiffener/wind girders, nozzle/ manholes/clean our fittings, flush type shell connections, bolted door sheet, draw off sump, anchor bolts and accessories like spiral stairway, roof structure, landing platform, railings, heating coils, gauge hatch, jet type mixture, propeller type mixture, top draw out floating system.

We have provided detail engineering for more than 75 fired heaters, reformers and crackers of different varieties - circular, cabin & twin cabin for crude heater, vacuum heater, cocker heater, atmospheric heater, kero heater, dehydration reactor, feeder heater, super heater, hydrogen reformer, steam reformer, visbreaker, reboilers, etc. for almost all major refineries in india.
we are familiar with all aspects of fired heaters - pressure parts, support/holding system, structural designs, radiant section, arch panel, convection section, header box, flue gas duct, damper, shield section, burner placing, stack, stack supporting structure, interconnecting ducts, aph ducting, aph supporting structures, refractory and its tie-back arrangement, accessories, platforms, ladder, access door, stair case, material take off for requisition and execution purpose.

Our scope involves structural design, general arrangement drawings, shop drawings, bolt list, material take off from the client provided thermal design.
