DESCRIPTION
Wireframe Studio is an independent multimedia and web design agency based in Cape Town, South Africa. Founded in 1995 by two creative designer-come-programmers, the company has since grown in size and stature and has built a solid reputation for producing innovative and effective interactive multimedia applications.

Our initial focus was on broadband productions, such as touch-screen kiosks, speaker-support presentations, 3D animation and other CD-ROM based work. This has stood us in good stead to move into our other area of interest, the web. Using applications like Flash, our work has varied from highly interactive websites to game development.

Wireframe Studio has won numerous awards, both local and international, for our work. We are very involved in the multimedia world, and have participated in South African and international multimedia events, which we believe is essential in keeping in touch with new trends in this growing and highly competitive arena.

SKILLS
Wireframe studio has a diverse collection of skills taking you from concept through to final production. Our skills include graphic design, information architecture, flash and director authoring, 3d animation, video digitisation and editing, audio production and copywriting as well as being able to integrate these with backend systems and databases. Our work has ranged from CD-ROM and DVD development, promotional material, touch-screen kiosk applications; screen savers; game development and, of course, website design and development. But what sets Wireframe apart is our designers’ ability to combine design and programming, two disciplines that have traditionally been kept separate. By bridging the gap, we believe we look at multimedia in a unique way and are able to explore and push the medium to its fullest.
