QArea’s commitment is to ensure quality, security and privacy to every customer. To perform an excellent quality of the produced software there was created a separate QA&Testing division at QArea. Wide experience in QA gained by the team (the majority of projects completed by QArea required QA) and high demand in custom testing gave our company the idea to promote our QA services under a new brand – Bug Huntress (www.bughuntress.com). Bug Huntress QA Lab in cooperation with its owner company QArea has developed a pioneering tool for automated testing of Palm OS-based applications which requires no additional hardware. Its commercial version is now available for sale.

QArea, Inc. provides a wide range of solutions stressing the activity of PDA&Mobile development. We have now more than 6 years experience in this field and several dedicated divisions: J2ME, Symbian OS, Palm OS, PocketPC and RIM (Blackberry). Apart to other ones, our key activity is Palm OS development. We started from OS 3.0 and have created more than forty applications with their development lasting from one man-month to several man-years. Our developers are also efficient in mobile, J2ME, wireless, client-server development. We have experience in the J2ME development for different devices (Nokia, Sony-Ericsson, BlackBerry RIM, PalmOS) and domains (client-server games, OTA provisioning, secure messaging). We also developed WML, WMLScript, WAP Push applications, as well as EMS and SMS gate to CIMD SMS server.

TERMS
We seek for close collaboration with companies in the field of software development and testing which would give us mutual benefit. Our pricing policy is a rather flexible one. We are always looking for an individual approach in every particular case. Our hourly rate may vary depending on project complexity and scope from $10 to $40.
As for payment policy we are also open for discussion and are ready to develop the approach that fits both our customer and us but generally we offer the following terms:
For projects with a budget of $1 000 to $5 000 - 50% upfront, 50% before the source code delivery; $5 000 to $10 000 – 50% upfront, 25% after first beta delivery, 25% before the source code delivery; exceeding $10 000 – 25% upfront.
