IN order to serve our clients in an effective manner, D Consulting (Private) Limited has been incorporated as a subsidiary of The Data Corporation (TDC). The primary objective is to make available to the industry our already established products through an organized marketing strategy supported by a dedicated team of professionals for an effective delivery of the product.

The group has been going through a significant transformation process as can been seen. Previously, it was working under the umbrella of a registered firm with the name of The Data Shop. But due to its affiliation with foreign companies – the details of which also form part of this profile - the conversion of the firm to a private limited company had become a necessity.

The company is the associate concern of the group of companies offering a host of services ranging from accounting and management consulting services to the provision of IT enabled services like web hosting, application service providers, applications and software development, web designing and database development, multi media presentations etc. The group has been successful in working for and maintaining clients from the international community.

The Group has been offering a variety of services to the regulatory bodies, financial sector, pharmaceutical sector and transcription industry locally, in the form of BPR, automation and restructuring of different departments, assistance for the development of an online forum of tax laws and consultancy, and handling online registrations of physicians. National Bank of Pakistan, NIB Bank Limited and Pak Shaheen Group are our clients to name a few.

The company has made a Sales Tax product – Tax Solution for the businesses, the approval of which is under Central Board of Revenue, as it is considering launching this product jointly with its primary body, Pakistan Revenue Automation Limited (PRAL). Our product - Taxtyle - for the textile sector, was awarded by the Federal Minister of Pakistan as “BEST OF INDUSTRIAL APPLICATION, 2004” in an event for ICT Awards organized by the Pakistan Software Houses Association (P@SHA).

In the field of management consultancy, The Group is offering its services to the banking and freight forwarding sector in crucial areas required specialized skills and knowledge to devise an appropriate solution. With respect to the public sector, the Group has jointly developed and created a data warehouse for the Directorate of Education of the results of the students of the Board of Secondary Education Board for the purposes of admission to the colleges.

In the field of financial consultancy, the company has recently assisted and got sanctioned project financing for one of the tendering parties in the Transit Bus Shelters Scheme announced by the City District Government of Karachi (CDGK).
