Establish new CDMA Wireless operator in DRC.

Contracted to complete negotiations with DR Congo Government for the issuance of licenses, and to establish an operating environment in Kinshasa

Establish new telecommunications opportunities on the African continent.

Operating broadly within the telecommunications space but with a primary focus on three projects;

1. SNO – South Africa
2. SNO – Kenya
3. Acquisition of NITEL (Nigeria)

BT Telconsult is the International consultancy division of BT and provided solutions to incumbent PTT’s, Tier 1 Carriers, Television broadcasters, voice operators and corporate data clients. Role was to create a competent team (s) working throughout Africa responsible for sales, marketing, administration and technical service provisioning within the Tier 1 carrier market.

Specific tasks:-

* Manage and expand BT’s role within the three nominated accounts
* Create new opportunities at National Carrier level
* Specific responsibility for Sales and Marketing teams
* Assist existing BT African operations to facilitate company expansion
* Secure operating licenses for BT in Central African countries
* Establish offices with full operation staff in, Kenya and Nigeria.
