I am an independent professional with electrical engineering background, having worked at senior positions with reputed Indian and overseas organizations for the promotion of international business. In my new role as country manager for any overseas company, I would be able to organize enquiry generation, carry out marketing and business promotion activities, follow-up, interact with concerned governmental/private agencies, develop networking with the industry and trade associations, attend meetings on behalf of principals, extend all possible help to the officials of principals during their visits to India, negotiate and monitor contracts, settle all pending issues of the contract, including balance payments and retrieval of bank guarantees (if any).
SKILLS
My main areas of focus would be to identify potential clients, their pattern of business and purchases, interact with them, get the company included in their consideration zone. Find out the strengths and weaknessess of the competetors. Keep track of the developements or regulations which directly or indirectly may have any effect on the business. My skills are matured way of marketing, constant follow up with the clients, keep the principals updated with the progress and invite them for any essential demonstration or meeting.
TERMS
I am prepared to work for any company, prefrably on following terms:
Monthly retainership of US $1500 plus actual expenses incurred on outstation travels (out of New Delhi-India), lodging/boarding, couriers, fax, etc. (indirectly the expenses on running the establishment).
OR
Monthly remuneration of US $750 plus commission of three percent of the business generated plus office expenses as enumerated as above.
