10 years experience in business development/sales - incorporating IT/value added services/BPO - national and international (US).
SKILLS
Being a part of a fast growing organization in the ITES sector the job entails all the elements of business development, presales, consulting, strategizing and sales roles spanning, generating and qualifying leads, managing client engagements and also providing pre-sales support, with cross-functional working.
Managing a team of 3 assistant managers and 3 senior sales engineers's - encompassing lead generation/content management/strategy/MIS/RFI/RFP's – supporting the frontend US sales team.
• Responsible for managing the sales activity out of India, where I own the following:
o Creating the named account list for the defined verticals (IT/retail).
o Ensuring the cold calling process out of India and generating the sales pipeline.
o Responsible for co-coordinating, researching and closure of RFI/RFQ/RFP.
• Developing the sales team in India, and ensuring requisite skill sets are imparted to the team. Currently the team comprise of people who perform the following functions:
o Cold calling/lead generation and qualification.
o Research – market, competitor, industry/process.
