Beyond Acme: Project Life Cycle
Repetitions over series of cycles which take place over time make up the life of
the system. The cycles conclude with a product release to the clients. Every
cycle consists of five phases: discovery, inception, elaboration, construction and
transition. Each phase is further worked out through a series of iterations and the
ensuing increments over time. Each phase terminates in a milestone.
