SKILLS
My technical writing background includes many industries: computer, oil & gas, medical, and entertainment to include operations / procedural manuals, software guides, maintenance & service guides, installation instructions, HR procedures, accounting programs, video scripts/training materials, and feature film screenplays (comedy, drama, & Science Fiction). Manage book projects from conception through completion. Event organization.

I am extremely flexible and can pick up on the idioms and acronyms associated with a specific group or industry.

Procedural manuals may include parts lists, error codes, diagnostic codes, illustrated parts maps & breakdowns, and disassembly instructions. While I do not use CAD, I can drop any EPS and JPG into a file.

The most extensive project I have worked on was a 7 volume, 26 book, 12,552 page manual set for a gas turbine shipped to Iraq. Software used: MS Word, Adobe Acrobat, SnagIt.

I have torn equipment apart, put it back together again, and have written procedures for field engineers in the computer, oil and gas, and medical industries. I have worked with every type of engineer you can imagine, with a dogged determination to get the information that was required within the timeframe that I needed it and made sure it was verified.

TERMS
I charge $45 - $75 USD per hour, net 15, paid through PayPal with a 2% surcharge for late payment.

Every project requires the following PRIOR to beginning:

* Signed and dated purchase order
* Retainer fee
* Delivery date of project
* Complete contact information:
- Complete address of your company
- Contact name(s) (primary contact & backup contact)
- Contact email (primary contact & backup contact)
- Contact telephone & fax number (primary contact and
backup contact)
* Specific details of the project

Please note that once the completed project has been returned for your review cycle/approval, no complaint will be entertained after a period of 10 days. Arrangements for your team to review the document and request changes MUST occur within 10 days.

My services include writing, editing, formatting, custom templates, redesign, rewriting, etc.

Please note that there is a vast difference between content editing and rewriting.
