In order to address the above we propose a unique team deployment model where a team of developers is provided on-site for our customers at the same rates as we charge offshore for a duration before then relocating the team back to the offshore development centre. This enables the customer to evaluate the performance and competency of the team as well as enabling them to save costs immediately and allows us the time to understand the processes and domain of the customer to be able to deliver an optimised service. Once the Aventech team is deployed offshore the relationship established between our customer and the Aventech team members goes a long way in assisting the on-going successful delivery of projects.

1) Product Management

SKILLS
Aventech specialises in four technical areas:

1) Open Source (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP)

Development of complex projects using open source technologies under the Mojavi Development Framework as well as development methodologies like Smarty (PHP Template Engine) and PEAR (PHP Extensions and Application Repository). Extensive experience of using QuickForms under PEAR.

2) .Net Expertise

The Microsoft Competency Center is staffed by experienced and/or, Microsoft Certified professionals with applications development experience in selected Microsoft development environments. Currently the center focuses on developing and enhancing bespoke applications built using C#, VC++ or VB/ASP on the .NET environment.

3) Java / J2EE

Aventech has invested in training resources and developing a framework combining best design practices for developing applications based on J2EE.

TERMS
Our pricing models are designed to be flexible to cater for the changing needs of our clients and include:

1) Hybrid Model

Very often it becomes necessary to undertake a major portion of a project on a Fixed Price basis and at the same time deploy resources on a Time and Materials Pricing basis. We call this the hybrid model. Adopting such a model enables the client to maximize their budgets without compromising any aspect of the project itself.

This model is used when client wishes to work on fixed price model and when the project scope is not detailed enough to enable us to estimate the effort with accuracy.

2) Fixed-Price Model

Our fixed time, fixed price model offers customers a low-risk option and can be employed when the scope and specifications of the project are reasonably clear. This model guarantees on-time, on-budget delivery of projects. Deliverables, Costs and Timelines are clearly defined and adhered to using this model.

3) Time and Material Model

When scope, specification and implementation plans of a software development project are not easy to define at the outset, Time & Material Model becomes an attractive option. Under this model, you pay as per use of the hourly development efforts. We define the business model and work hand in hand with our clients for execution of the project. At times once the scope is frozen the time and material project also gets converted to the fixed price model.

4) Dedicated Development Center Model

A Dedicated development center, which is an extension of the customer's software engineering facility, is popular among customers, who are looking at long-term gains from offshore outsourcing without having to invest considerable funds in setting up and managing their own offshore infrastructure.
