We measure our success not by our gross revenue or net income, but by how happy our clients are with our work and how motivated our employees are. That is the true measure of success of a business. The revenue and the net income would automatically result from that. We are proud of our philosophy, our vision, and the fact that we have never lost a client. We want to keep it that way.

MANAGEMENT TEAM

Our management team is led by Syed M. Kamal, who has nearly 30 years of experience in leadership, management, financial planning and forecasting, and information technology. His experience comprises the positions of operations manager, controller, vice president of finance, vice president of business development, chief operating officer, and chief executive officer in education services, Islamic finance, not- for-profit organizations, distribution, and manufacturing industries. The leadership team includes our current vice president of business development, Arif Memon, a business graduate combined with an engineering degree and a veteran marketing manager for AT&T (New Jersey, USA) and former marketing director of a private sector airline in Pakistan, and Suhail Sadiq, an MBA and a certified public accountant from New York. Our senior consulting team includes:
? Ambreen Zaman, an MBA from the University of Hull with CIMA certificate from the United Kingdom.
? Nasrat Kamal, a former director of Pakistan’s Central Bank,
? Mohsin Kamal, a veteran financial manager with extensive experience in reviving ailing businesses.
? Wasim Hashmi, a seasoned attorney and an office bearer of Pakistan Income Tax Bar,
? Saim Syed, an MBA from the Imperial College of London,
? Fahad Tasleem, an MBA (Taxation) from University of Southern California.
? Farhan Ahmed, with an MS in Information Technology from Zurich University, Germany and faculty experience from Urdu Science University, Karachi.
? Mohammad Muzzammil, an MBA from the University of Sindh with rich experience from systems’ management and report writing in securities brokerage industry.

At the present time, we employ nearly 110 professionals and paraprofessionals on permanent basis and about 25 contract workers.

PREMISES

Associated Consulting is housed in a 3000-square-feet facility with enough space for up to 40 additional workstations. Should need arise, we have ready access to an additional 1500-square feet of office space. Facilities currently include 65 workstations, a conference room, management offices, a break room, and a reception area. The premises are air conditioned with the exception of kitchen and reception area.


NETWORK & SYSTEMS

Facilities are equipped with a wired Ethernet network with dedicated primary and backup servers for each project. All of the servers are Windows 2003 Small Business Servers.

System Back up:

a. Attended back up on four portable Hard Drives with 120 GB twice a day at mid- day during lunch hour and at the end of the shift. Two disks are rotated each day. One disk is stored at company’s lockbox and other at a bank lockbox.
b. Daily unattended back up with a weekly archive on CD’s.
c. Web-based backup on a remote server.
d. Real time data replication on separate hard box data storage devices.

Connectivity:

Redundant, multi-layered 2.0 Mbps connectivity as follows:
a. 1.0 Mbps dedicated fiber optic circuit.
b. 512 Kbps ADSL CIR circuit on FLAG.
c. 256 Kbps ADSL CIR circuit on FLAG or PIENet.
d. 256 Kbps Digital Cable connectivity on PIENet.


POWER SOLUTION

We have a robust backup power solution in place in case of power failure as follows:
? A 3.5 KW UPS with a 12-Volt battery is in place for each three systems with total power output of 35 KW to support the entire network (including servers, workstations, routers, switches, fans, and lights) for up to 120 minutes.
